So I can't draw worth a lick (and licks are expensive these days), but I work in an elementary school and my kids draw some awesome things. I can't tell you the kids' names (the law man would kill me if I did), but I will try to put a blurb in about what they say in regards to it if I remember.
For this one...my male 3rd grader said that he "put the pink on her lips because she is a girl and she wears lipstick." He also named her Patricia but didn't know how to spell it, thus my chicken scratch writing is on this piece of art spelling her name correctly. She is a "square monster."
I want to draw Patricia so bad right now.
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome! I love seeing what kids come up with. That would actually be a fun topic too, to pick a picture that a kid is done and have everyone do their interpretation of it. I say go for it Mike.
