Hello Spaceboy

I've been trying to learn Illustrator lately, and this is my first practice piece. It has no point really, it's just a combination of all the tools and features I'm trying to learn.

New Theme: Alien Invasion!

After a long hiatus, we're going to roll out a new theme.  Anything you can think of that in some way relates to Alien Invasions!

Like always, feel free to continue to post on any previous themes.

Memoirs of a SuperGeisha - 1949 Japan

I remember my old Grandma telling us the same story over and over again about how Grandpa died. The image you see in this photo is the last thing Grandpa saw right before he was lasered to death by what we think is the legendary Super-Geisha. She is thought to ruthlessly fly around in her Geisha garb on sunny days at the beach burning all men with her jade laser eyes. This to my knowledge is the only factual documentation that exists of this Super-Geisha Babe.

Moustache Monster Redux

Started this one a while ago (obviously) but could not finish it because of Problems. Here it is now, my take on Mike's blog-kick-off, the Moustache Monster. About 4 inches tall, polymer clay with a wire armature and acrylic paint. I'm a bit disappointed that this photo does not capture the variation in color on the 'stache.

thank goodness for work meetings
